The client came to us with several goals in mind. Most importantly, they wanted a floor plan that had rooms with the purpose of creating cozy and intimate areas to enjoy time with family and friends. They wanted to utilize outdoor living areas that could be used year-round. We came up with a layout for the indoor swimming pool that could be accessed from inside the house and be opened to the outdoor covered patio and courtyard. This created a great area for entertaining guests. We wanted to create privacy for themselves from the surrounding roads, while ensuring that their home did not obstruct their neighbor’s views in the process.
